the short version

The Yap Training Tool does not collect personal information, does not use tracking, and does not share any data with third parties. Your practice sessions stay on your device.

what data is collected

None that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, IP address, or any account. There is no login and no user profile.

The only optional input is an email address in the Hook Library sign-up form. If you choose to submit it, it is used solely to send you the free hook library — nothing else.

how your voice + transcript are handled

Recording and speech-to-text happen entirely inside your browser using built-in Web APIs. Audio and transcripts are never uploaded to us, never sent to any AI service, and never stored on a server. When you close the tab, they are gone.

Scoring (words per minute, filler count, etc.) is calculated locally in JavaScript on your device.

third parties

Nothing is shared with third parties. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no data brokers, no AI APIs. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts to render the page — that is the only external request the tool makes.

cookies + tracking

The tool does not set tracking cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising trackers.
